WORST Dry cleaners in Adelaide. DONT GO HERE!! I took my suit to them to get cleaned on the 29/6/23. When I took it out of the suit bag to wear, I found they had damaged my suit. There is a burn mark across one side of the jacket near the pocket. See photo attached. They used to much heat on the suit and has taken the shine and melted the top layer of fabric off the suit and burnt a line in the jacket. The dryer cleaner own told me it was my own fault and that the jacket was cheap. She also said they didn't know it was a lady's jacket so it was done as a men jacket. (I'm not sure what difference it makes) She then told me the burn mark was from the pocket. So I asked her why it isn't on the other side and why only one side is like that. She replied she doesn't know and that they don't make suits like they used to. She then told me again it was my suit's fault they won't be doing anything about it and it is what it is. This suit was only 3 weeks old. Don’t use this dry cleaners they will destroy your clothes. Worst dryer cleaners in Adelaide.

We have been relying on Manhattan Dry Cleaners as our trusted dry-cleaning service for several years now. Throughout countless occasions, they have consistently provided excellent service for hundreds of shirts, suits, and even a handful of wedding dresses. While it is inevitable that occasional issues may arise, such as a garment reacting unexpectedly to the cleaning chemicals or a minor unnoticed rip worsening during pressing, the way Manhattan Dry Cleaners handles these situations is what sets them apart and keeps us coming back year after year.

I've been entrusting my clothes to Manhattan Drycleaners for years now. Anyone who has washed clothes at home knows it can be somewhat hit or miss. Even when you follow the care instructions to a tee, things can still go awry. Therefore, there's no such thing as a "perfect" dry cleaner, just as no piece of clothing is perfect. However, Manhattan Drycleaners do come close. I really appreciate their commitment to doing the best job possible, every single time. I've probably entrusted them with over a hundred pieces of clothing by now, and there's never been a problem they couldn't resolve. They're always punctual and consistently professional. I can't begin to count the number of times they've saved me by accommodating a last-minute emergency. I felt compelled to write this review in light of some of the negative reviews I've read here. Working in customer service can make one feel jaded, and it's not always easy to put your best foot forward, especially when dealing with complaints about a faded piece of clothing due to the manufacturer skimping on cheaper dyes, or an old jacket that's close to death, that's had its demise hastened by the rough and tumble of the machine. Simply put, clothes can be temperamental, cleaning them can be a hassle, and managing unhappy customers is just the icing on the cake. But despite all this, Manhattan Drycleaners still finds the time to expedite a shirt for the last-minute guest who needs to wear it to a wedding he's known about for months (Sorry about that one guys). So, thank you, Manhattan, for always being there when I need you, and I apologise for the recent onslaught of irritable customers.

Brought in a pair of japanese selvedge denim jeans with very specific instructions to dry clean (NOT WASH) only the cuffed hems which had become quite dirty. I only gave them a cursory look over in the store as the hems were clean, but realised when I went to wear them next that they had been washed and shrunk as a result (not to mention become stiff as a board like new, as they're 15 oz denim). This is so completely unacceptable. Not only has washing affected the fit, but as they are rope dyed it has affected the natural fades. How hard is it to follow instructions? If for whatever reason you can't do what I asked, call me and we'll discuss it. I'll still pay you for your time even if the discussions ends with a decision to do nothing and return them to me. Will not be returning here with any of my clothing.
