Called 2 hours before end of business to enquire if it was to late in the day for same day dry cleaning, just going out on a wim. Lady hung up on me instantly. Gave her the credit of the doubt and called back incase it was an accident and she was rude and told me to be better organised
I trusted this company with a beloved Zimmermann dress of mine (worth $1250) and was mortified when I was told it had been misplaced when I went to pick it up. However, this is the short story. Read on if you are considering trusting this company with your precious items. Initially I was presented with a dress that did not belong to me and was questioned multiple times when I said it was not mine. When I showed a photo of my Zimmermann dress I was met with a statement similar to “the manager will have to go through security footage to confirm that’s the dress you dropped off”. Immediately after this I was told I had been under quoted for another item I was collecting and would be required to pay extra $$ (despite my evening dress still missing). Alas, I was called that night to be reassured the dress had been found. When I asked where it was I was told “it’s a long story, it would take half an hour to tell”. 12 hours after this phone call I was called to say that the dress had not made it to the store yet and the caller requested that I come on Monday to collect the dress. When I went in on Monday the dress was STILL NOT THERE. Instead of being met with apologies the comment was “did you not collect it over the weekend”. On Tuesday I went to collect the dress for the third time. I requested that the fee be waived given the company’s mistake and subsequent waste of my time. I was denied this request and was met with the comment “in all fairness you left the dress here for a month so what can we do”. I was told on this day that my dress had actually been given to another customer by mistake. I would not recommend this company to anyone if you care about your clothes and/or customer service. Instead of profuse apologies I was made to feel as if the situation was my fault.
